Savvy travelers know to avoid the Northcentral Valley due to the constant skirmishes being fought in the region. Horsemen of the Apocalypse run routine sweeps of the area, attacking anyone unlucky enough to cross their path. Those who stumble across the remains of those unfortunates tend to lose their stomach for travel... as well as their faith in humanity. The Horsemen often use the bodies of their victims as revolting decorations to celebrate their victories.
